Vitamin E

200iu - Antioxidant

Vitamin E is a powerful lipid soluble antioxidant. Antioxidants defend the cells of the body against damaging unstable substances known as 'free radicals'. Our bodies produce excessive free radicals as a natural consequence of strenuous exercise, pollutants, stress and other environmental sources.

Vitamin E is used by the body in conjunction with Selenium and Vitamin C to limit the damage by free radical oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids in the cell membranes and other critical cellular structures.

Vitamin E is known to reduce the stickiness of platelets and improves cardiovascular circulation and muscle efficiency. It is also required to maintain the efficiency & full life of red blood cells and muscle tissues. It helps to prevent destruction of Essential Fatty Acids and other nutrients like Vitamin A and C and the sulphur containing amino acids.

Common throughout nature Vitamin E is easily lost during cooking and processing. Promile Vit E is derived from natural source alpha- tocopherol

Those taking medications for any cardiovascular problem, in anaemia and with thyroid problems should check with their practitioner before taking Vitamin E.

Vitamin E contains d-alpha tocopherol, which is the most biologically active and beneficial natural source.
